Light up Robot card for Online Card Classes' "Wild Card"
After a long absence from the Blogosphere, while we were busy moving house .... the Craftydragon team has embarked on an On-line Card Class, called Wild Cards! This class is all about interactive cards, that is to say, all the ones I have long been afraid to try.
Paradoxically, the first one we made is the last one of the class, and that is the one using LEDs, and especially Chibitronics! We used Tim Holtz Robot stamps, and coloured the Robot #3 in with alcohol markers. We then made small holes for the eyes, which had blue coloured acetate underneath to give a nice robot-colour to his eyes.
We worked out where to place the Chibitronic lights for lighting the eyes, and also the battery, and consequent track for the copper tape. Battery holder was niftily crafted from paper and the switch was a copper tape bridge held aloft by sticky pads, push to make it touch copper tracks on bottom layer.

My entry for a SSS summer challenge
These Crazy Birds (by Tim Holtz) were a must-do for a Simon Says Stamp Challenge summer entry, before Tim's Accessory kit, with the Christmas hat was available. This was before I had a Blog, so I am putting it up as a historical note.
Furry Hooligans!
Affery is a cute Chocolate Tabby-Pointed Birman girl, who is the senior cat by a month, and sadly is the smallest!
Beely and Ferial are brother and sister Ragdolls, who are now (2016 ) about 3 years old. They are both big, with Beely being described as HUGE!
