Box card "Spey Bay with dolphins, Moray Firth"

This card was created using the Online Card Classes "Wild Card" instructions (day 1), but I had to add in the dolphins which play in Spey Bay, visible from our bedroom window (but sadly only visible with a good telescope)

Light up Robot card for Online Card Classes' "Wild Card"

After a long absence from the Blogosphere, while we were busy moving house .... the Craftydragon team has embarked on an On-line Card Class, called Wild Cards!  This class is all about interactive cards, that is to say, all the ones I have long been afraid to try.

Paradoxically, the first one we made is the last one of the class, and that is the one using LEDs, and especially Chibitronics!  We used Tim Holtz  Robot stamps, and coloured the Robot #3 in with alcohol markers.  We then made small holes for the eyes, which had blue coloured acetate underneath to give a nice robot-colour to his eyes.

We worked out where to place the Chibitronic lights for lighting the eyes, and also the battery, and consequent track for the copper tape. Battery holder was niftily crafted from paper and the switch was a copper tape bridge held aloft by sticky pads, push to make it touch copper tracks on bottom layer.
